 Paul
Brimberry is a Certified Family Law Specialist. He has limited his practice to the family law arena
since 1983 and has been certified by the State Bar
of California, Board of Legal Specialization since 1987.
Paul is currently a member of the Association of
Certified Family Law Specialists, the California
State Bar, the Sacramento County Bar Association,
and the International Academy of Collaborative
Professionals.
Paul is active in the local legal
community, and has served on numerous committees, such as
the Family Law Section Executive Committee, the
Probate and Estate Planning Section Executive
Committee, the Court Liaison Committee, the
Supervisor’s Forum Committee, the Pro Per Clinic
Committee, the Alternative Dispute Resolution
Committee, and the Parent Education Committee.
In 1998, Paul and other likeminded attorneys in
the Sacramento area, founded the Sacramento
Collaborative Practice Group, in order to provide a
new process in which a divorcing couple, together
with trained professionals, work as a team to
resolve disputes respectfully without going to
court.
 Ben
Ramsey, Attorney at Law,
joined our firm in 2006. Although he now limits
his practice to Family Law, his experience as a
Criminal Law Practitioner has proven to be
invaluable, particularly with contempt defense and
domestic violence restraining orders.
During the last year and a half of law school Ben
worked for the Sacramento County Public Defender’s
Office in the Misdemeanor Intake Division as a
Certified Law Student. After being admitted to the
bar he entered private practice with an emphasis
in Family and Criminal Law, handling complex family
law matters along with misdemeanor and felony cases.
Ben has more than once received the very high
compliment of having family law cases referred to
him by District Attorneys who were on the other side
of his criminal cases. Ben graduated from the
University of California at Davis with a degree in
History and a minor in English, and attended Lincoln
Law School of Sacramento. He is a member of the
Family Law Sections of the County Bar of Sacramento
and the State Bar of California. The firm's
